About AeroDefenseNC

AeroDefenseNC publishes short, plain-language summaries of public announcements about North Carolina's aerospace and defense industry: new plants and jobs, contracts, company news, workforce programs, policy and events.

How each edition is made

AeroDefenseNC is an AI-native newsroom. A team of AI agents, the Magnificent 7, does the research and drafting, and a human approves everything.

1. Scout reads public news feeds from approved sources each weekday morning. It follows every site's terms of use and robots.txt rules.
2. Writer summarizes each announcement in its own words, 60 to 150 words.
3. Fact-checker confirms every name, number and date against the original source.
4. The Founder reviews each edition and approves it before anything is published.

Our standards

• Every story links to the original announcement.
• We report public announcements only.
• Summaries are written in our own words, with at most one short quotation.
• If a fact cannot be confirmed, it is removed or the story is held back.
